Job Description
Join The Red Gate Group's dynamic team as a Senior Web Developer supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Operational Informational Management System (OIMS) at Fort Belvoir, VA. As part of this critical mission, you'll collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain, enhance, and field-test capabilities within OIMS, the backbone for global situational awareness of countering weapons of mass destruction (CWMD) and improvised threat networks.
The OIMS platform is a program of record under the DTRA Information Technology (IT) Directorate, Knowledge Management Department (KT). IT-KT ensures that the OIMS platform is available for use by internal and external stakeholders/users to continuously monitor DTRA’s critical mission activities. OIMS consists of a suite of applications, or modules, that provide the JOC with various inputs and outputs of information. Individual applications support functions such as status reporting on DTRA missions worldwide; intake of DTRA customer requests for hazard prediction modeling; WMD analysis, and information sharing about key ongoing CWMD-related events. OIMS is used across three security domains, NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. Through an Agile process, individual modules are continually enhanced to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the JOC’s global situational awareness role.
