The Red Hat Sales Reporting and Analysis team is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, you will perform sales operations activities to support Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) Sales teams including field sales and inside sales. You'll conduct thorough and ongoing opportunity management, data validation, consolidation, cleansing, and maintenance. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for renewals and sales support. We'll need you to be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and be committed to contributing to Red Hat's operational success. This position is open to internal candidates only. What you will do
- Oversee opportunity life cycle management from quote creation, order or quote form creation, PO processing, approval management etc
- Cross-reference and reconcile data across different systems like Salesforce.com (SFDC), financial and commissions systems, or Oracle
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to showcase key business metrics
- Ensure opportunity data management and validation inline with different routes-to-market (RTM) business rules
- Manage and resolve queries from sales teams
- Work on ad hoc reporting requests or tasks
- Complete all deliverables in a timely fashion, ensuring proper quality checks, analytics and business context reviews, and associated revisions
- Work under tight deadlines and for extended hours during quarter and year-end periods as needed
- Develop understanding of Red Hat's workflows and a detailed understanding of our policies
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree; equivalent degree at an accredited university or equivalent experience will also be considered
- 5 years of industry experience in sales operations or sales support
- Ability to understand and transform data to meet customers' needs and business context in a customer-friendly, quality-first manner
- Good analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to work with large data while maintaining a high attention to detail
- Proficient with spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills; focused on delivering results
- Experience working with SFDC, as well as transactional reporting and customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus
