Foothills at Red Oak Recovery in Ellenboro, NC provides an enriching and experiential program that helps young people improve their lives. Using a holistic approach, our team supports clients on their path to self-love, self-acceptance, and self-awareness. Our therapists work with individual clients as well as leading client groups. They create treatment plans for clients and work with the clinical and treatment team to lead our clients on their recovery journey.
This position works at our Ellenboro, NC campus.
Located on a 94-acre working horse farm, Foothills serves 14-year-old to 17-year-old male adolescents and their families. Our programming teaches a wide variety of coping strategies and emotional regulation skills, empower clients to take responsibility for their actions, promote and encourage healthy decisions, and positively motivate clients by modeling healthy behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families
- Accurately assess clients and develop individualized treatment goals, using client input, and client strengths, abilities, needs and preferences
- Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to assist clients in overcoming challenges
- Produce assessments, treatment plans, and other records in a timely manner
- Work in collaboration with other professionals as part of a treatment team
- Completes and uploads to EMR all documentation within one week of service or as indicated by supervisor; including pre-admission assessment, clinical assessment, treatment plan, weekly progress note, group note, discharge summary and transition plan.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring professionals
- Initiate appropriate referrals to aftercare programs
- Utilization review and asam for insurance companies
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000
Education/Experience:
- Master’s degree in human service field
- Licensed as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT or license eligible
- Experience in facilitating group therapy
- Experience with experiential therapy
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCAS or pursuing LCAS
- Dual licensed in both addiction and mental health treatment (or willing to seek both)
- Experience working with young adults in an eco-therapeutic setting
