What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Project Manager position at Red River?
Red River is seeking an experienced and talented IT Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will manage the implementation of a modern enterprise solution to replace multiple siloed legacy systems across a diverse customer base. This individual will provide leadership to the project team and be the primary liaison between Red River and its clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
Primary Position Tasks:

Responsible for the management and timely delivery of all project deliverables in a matrixed engineering organization

Primary point of contact for all status reporting to multiple levels of project stakeholders

Responsible for implementing industry standard project management best practices, processes and methodologies

Primary project advocate to remove roadblocks, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations

Manage a team of people and communicate well with management, sales organization and Red River’s valued customers

Responsible for the communication and timely escalation of project issues and risks to insure the continued stability of all work efforts

Full lifecycle management of infrastructure deployments from procurement, delivery, installation, configuration and testing

Other business duties as assigned
Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
-
Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated full-time experience in project management

Demonstrated experience as a lead deploying a minimum of three (3) complex networking &/or security infrastructure projects across multiple locations
Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred
-
Six Sigma and ITIL certifications a plus
-
Experience as a lead or assistant project manager for software development projects or COTS deployment projects is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Essential Elements :
This position is expected to travel 25% time as needed.
