What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Chef position at Redbird Capital?
Objective:
Full time employment of an experienced, private chef (some corporate experience preferred) to provide internal and client-based food and hospitality services during to be determined business hours. The property is a boutique style corporate office seeking a detail oriented chef who has strong time management skills and is able to work primarily on their own.
Responsibilities:
- To cook daily for main partner, taking detailed notes on personal preferences, likes/dislikes
- Cooking breakfast, lunch, snacks and baked goods from scratch for office staff and guests
- Weekly menu planning, grocery & beverage (alcoholic & nonalcoholic) procurement, maintaining standard kitchen stocks and supplies (i.e. dry goods, cleaning supplies, paper goods)
- A well-kept work station and personal attire (chefs jacket required and provided)
- Monthly expenses, inventory and invoicing
- Setting up and breaking down of meeting spaces
- Food & beverage service for internal and client meetings including breakfasts, lunches and occasional dinners/cocktail events
- Working directly with hospitality team to plan and execute day to day services as well as special events
- Ability to maintain and adhere to company guidelines
- Time management and the ability to work unsupervised
Requirements:
- Private corporate/catering experience preferred; private household also considered
- 5 years
- Valid driver’s license
- Form of transportation
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to sign non-disclosure agreement
