The Reddit Assurance team leads and oversees technology risk related initiatives including risk management, audit readiness, internal controls and governance, and the design and implementation of remediation action plans. The team is rapidly developing and looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to get in and have an outsized impact on a highly skilled and motivated team. What You'll Do:
- Manage on-boarding/off-boarding of third parties
- Perform security and risk assessments
- Participate in the development and ongoing maintenance of third party risk management policies, standards, and procedural documentation (including risk profiling, risk identification, and risk remediation), onboarding/offboarding, process flow diagrams, process RACI, risk and control matrices, and other program development activities
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to translate technology and non-technology risk mitigation requirements into actionable plans
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with leads from different teams/practices to address problems and collaborate on solutions
- Participate in building, operating, and on-going improvement of Reddit’s Third Party Risk Management program including development of key performance indicators
- Develop and maintain supplier risk and control monitoring plans, performing monitor activities and analysis of documentation to determine controls are in place
- Manage and monitor third party risk assessments in partnership with internal stakeholders and external third parties
- Manage third party ticketing processes (Atlassian Jira) and maintain third party risk management tools
- Ensure successful delivery of third party risk management services against service level agreements
- Review vendor-related legal agreements, including Statements of Work, Customer Service Agreements, Consultants, Outsourced work
What We Can Expect From You:
- 3-5 years working in an IT risk management / IT security environment
- Support a collaborative, performance-driven culture that builds bridges with other functional groups across the enterprise and maintains positive working relationships
- Strong understanding of technology and non-technology based risks and their impact on business risk
- Ability to recommend risk countermeasures, controls, processes, policies, and tools to achieve acceptable risk objectives
- Detail oriented, good writing skills, attention to detail (important), think big and small picture, an ability and desire to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Demonstrated experience with technology control definition, development, implementation and assessment in cloud technology environments
- Functional knowledge of multiple security domains and information security industry standards and best practices (such as NIST, SOC2, ITGC, ISO 27001) in the area of risk, privacy, security, and cloud computing
- Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
- CISSP, CRISC, CTPRP, CISA, CISM or GIAC certifications preferred
