Responsibilities:
- Perform cost accounting activities including cost allocation, cost analysis, and inventory valuation
- Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cost accounting
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights for decision-making
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures
- Monitor and analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted costs
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support internal and external audits related to cost accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting systems and software
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and data accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of numerical data
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
