Regional Sales Manager

 

Redline is expanding its sales team into the Charlotte, NC region and we are looking for a highly motivated, high energy personality to help drive sales in this new market opportunity. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) position is an outside sales role primarily focused on direct selling, but may have some channel management sales opportunities. The RSM will manage all aspects of the sales process for both direct and indirect opportunities, with a primary focus on closing opportunities. The RSM will carry a quota and generate a portion of their overall on-target-earnings from commission. To be successful in this role, the RSM will possess the ability to quickly acquire the following knowledge and skills and will have demonstrated the ability to perform the various tasks and responsibilities listed below.

THIS IS A REMOTE, YET REGIONALLY BASED, POSITION.

 

Responsibilities

  • Contacting automotive dealers within the your market to introduce Redline products and services to key decision makers
  • Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners
  • Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with key decision makers
  • Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Attending and participating in both weekly and quarterly sales meetings
  • Accurately keeping track of all communication and details re: sales activities within the CRM (Zoho)
  • Be comfortable speaking/presenting to large groups
  • Traveling to meet with opportunities within a geographic region

Position Requirements

  • Ideally have 5+ years of outside sales experience working within the CT, RI, and MA markets
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in either automotive or technology (SaaS) required
  • Successful achievement of closing relatively short sales cycle (90 day) deals each month
  • Experience/Knowledge of the automotive retail landscape within the CT, RI, MA markets
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
