Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles as well as RVs. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with diesel engines
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel vehicles and equipment
- Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform tire services, including rotation, balancing, and replacement
- Conduct equipment repairs, including welding and soldering as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles and techniques
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines
- Familiarity with RV repair and service is a plus
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Cummins equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts as needed
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
