What This Job is About:
The Digital Business Development Manager supports, manages, and executes against the agency’s digital business development efforts. This individual will play an active role in new digital business opportunities, engaging in a range of activities that cut across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, in-depth knowledge of digital business development, is an expert communicator, and can excel in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Functions:
Developing a comprehensive digital business outreach strategy with collaboration with the VP, Marketing & Digital Strategy
Establishing a pipeline of core digital marketing activities and ensuring that the pipeline is aligned with the company’s revenue targets and digital marketing goals
Assessing new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind
Maintaining strong and prosperous working relationships with important clients
Support current agency client growth as it relates to new digital and social program extensions
Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers, partners, and other stakeholders
Identifying, exploring, and evaluating business opportunities, performing risk assessment, and mitigating potential risks. Follow-up with prospects utilizing material from content library
Serving as a strategic contributor and project manager for deliverables such as one sheets and decks
Identifying and procuring existing marketing collateral, working with appropriate internal teams as necessary
Staying abreast of all relevant activity within RedPeg, effectively communicating details to required parties
Monitoring competing agencies, brands, trends, and opportunities within the digital marketing industry for both future business development and current client projects
What You’re All About:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Marketing or Business Management
Minimum five years of agency experience working in a business development and/or marketing role of Knowledge and understanding of experiential marketing preferred
Proven sales experience in the digital and social space with a strong network of client relationships
Highly proficient in Keynote and other Mac programs
