What This Job is About: 

The Digital Business Development Manager supports, manages, and executes against the agency’s digital business development efforts. This individual will play an active role in new digital business opportunities, engaging in a range of activities that cut across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, in-depth knowledge of digital business development, is an expert communicator, and can excel in a fast-paced environment. 

Specific Functions:  

  • Developing a comprehensive digital business outreach strategy with collaboration with the VP, Marketing & Digital Strategy  

  • Establishing a pipeline of core digital marketing activities and ensuring that the pipeline is aligned with the company’s revenue targets and digital marketing goals 

  • Assessing new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind 

  • Maintaining strong and prosperous working relationships with important clients 

  • Support current agency client growth as it relates to new digital and social program extensions  

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior managers, partners, and other stakeholders 

  • Identifying, exploring, and evaluating business opportunities, performing risk assessment, and mitigating potential risks. Follow-up with prospects utilizing material from content library 

  • Serving as a strategic contributor and project manager for deliverables such as one sheets and decks 

  • Identifying and procuring existing marketing collateral, working with appropriate internal teams as necessary 

  • Staying abreast of all relevant activity within RedPeg, effectively communicating details to required parties 

  • Monitoring competing agencies, brands, trends, and opportunities within the digital marketing industry for both future business development and current client projects 

What You’re All About: 

You’ve got to be about more than just checking boxes, so what’s unique about you? Below are just some baseline pre-requisites for the job, but we’re really looking for someone who fits the collaborative, enthusiastic, “work hard, play hard” culture we have here:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Marketing or Business Management 

  • Minimum five years of agency experience working in a business development and/or marketing role of Knowledge and understanding of experiential marketing preferred 

  • Proven sales experience in the digital and social space with a strong network of client relationships   

  • Highly proficient in Keynote and other Mac programs

  • Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment
