Job Description

Great opportunity for a mid-level full stack PHP developer to enhance our suite of products that support healthcare clinical trials including the sharing of information between healthcare providers and their patients. This role will have a heavy focus on front end development, however you will have the opportunity to work across a full stack development environment learning and continuing to grow and enhance your skills. In addition to full stack application development you will be involved in building Proof of Concepts for new features and technologies for our suite of products. This role will strenghten the team with a focus on front end development while supporting the development of other aspects of the applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Full stack development for new features and enhancements.
BACKGROUND
  • Good experience with full stack PHP development
  • Good experience with UI / UX development
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Solid JavaScript development experience
  • Good understanding of the React or Angular 4 (they are open on versions - feel they can pick up newer versions easily)
  • Good understanding of the ReactJS JavaScript libraries and frameworks
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS a plus
  • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image – familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a plus
  • Understanding of code versioning tools, such as (Git / Mercurial / SVN) preferred
