This Opportunity: The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders to lay out project scope, budget and provide reporting on all financial elements of the project. You will work on custom projects that require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. Primary responsibility will be focused on scope and budget of the project over the entire live cycle from concept through implementation. You will work with all levels of RedViking as well as our customers, distributors and vendors to ensure adherence to quality standards and final project deliverables. You will guide the project team assigning responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing documentation and a schedule to ensure timely completion. We are looking for someone with experience in automation and custom equipment as well as strong project budget management to help us turn ideas into high-quality custom deliverables.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- BSME or equivalent experience in design and execution with complex custom equipment
- Several years of PM experience in high-tech or advanced capital equipment design, build and installation including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and quality
- Experience in the development and control of budgets, scopes of work, personnel, scheduling and material resources in manufacturing required
- Knowledge of budgets/forecasting and financials for tracking projects, advanced skills in Excel and some ERP experience
- Experience guiding technical professionals is a must as this person will work very closely with a team of Project Engineers, Staff Engineers and manufacturing support
- Strong influence-management, negotiation, leadership, and assertiveness skills
- Strong presentation development skills, with an ability to produce high-quality deliverables on all aspects of the project created through collaborations, presentations and briefings
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 17025 or equivalent quality standards preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 20%
