What are the responsibilities and job description for the Projects Estimator position at Reeb Millwork?

POSITION SUMMARY

To provide accurate and timely response to all pricing requests from customers, and inside/outside sales representatives. Assist the Project Supervisor and other Project Estimators in quoting, proofreading orders, arranging for logistics of product delivery and fielding/solving customer concerns.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Confer with vendors by telephone, fax, or email in order to acquire pricing on volume or special orders
  • Keep records of both customer and vendor interactions and transactions, monitoring quotes to ensure expeditious and accurate pricing
  • Enter commercial orders into the ordering system and proofread commercial orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Complete quoting of commercial projects
  • Arrange and ensure logistics of products delivery and fielding/solving customer concerns.
  • Communicate with Customer on logistics of their orders.
  • Resolve customer pricing disputes by researching the order history and taking disposition of incorrect pricing
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors
  • Continuously improve skills in the areas of product and process knowledge
  • Actively participate in departmental goal setting and goal achievement
  • Continuously work towards a “one-team” concept with outside sales representatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Pay Range $20.19 - $27.32/Hr. based on experience.
