Position Title:                   Enterprise Architect - Reference Architect – Mid Level (1595) 
Location:                           Springfield, VA
Clearance Required:        TS/SCI

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure RAs align to NGA’s RA framework.
  • Support identification of new opportunities for RAs through analysis of existing guidance and identification of gaps.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, Enterprise Engineers and Solutions Architects to identify needs for additional Reference Architectures.
  • Coordinate with Standards Team to identify technical standards profiles for GEOINT and IT standards applicable to solutions architectures to ensure interoperability between many and diverse GEOINT and business services solutions.
  • Ensures that RA outputs are actionable and are authored to provide value to a wide audience.
  • Creates traceability from JARM and GEA through to authored RA guidance.

Required Skills and Tasks:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Able to develop & use complex concepts & processes
  • Conduct root cause problem analysis
  • Guide & support Junior level personnel

Education/Certification Required:

  • Master’s degree, Bachelor’s degree plus 2-year experience, Associates degree plus 4 years’ experience, or a minimum of 6 years’ experience, in relevant field
