Job Posting for Chemical Plant Operator at REFINERY SPECIALTIES, INC

Duties:

Sampling raw and in-process materials

Performing QC checks for in-process materials

Loading and unloading trailers and tankers

Packaging materials to drums, totes and pails

Following processes by batch ticket

Handling hazardous chemicals

Requirements:

Must have the ability to operate a forklift

Certified medically fit to wear respirator and/or fit to carry 40 lb. SCBA during emergency situations.

Lift 25-60 lbs. between 15-40% of the time, frequently rolling and maneuvering 500 to 550-lb. drums. Moderate physical demand in regard to weights normally lifted and frequency of lifting.

Wear required PPE to include minimum of uniforms, hard hat, steel-toe boots and safety glasses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Laboratory experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • CGMP: 1 year (Preferred)
