What we’re looking for
We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and HR. He or she will need to have a well-rounded financial background with experience in the general ledger, journal entries, bookkeeping, and general accounting for multiple entities simultaneously. This role requires attention to detail, strategic thinking, and the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accounting functions for multiple entities
- Accurately record daily bank and credit card transactions
- Accounts payable
- Bank Reconciliations
- General bookkeeping
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements
Job Requirements
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Quickbooks Online
- Accounting for multiple companies
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and similar programs
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in different types of companies (services, technology, retail, etc)
- E-commerce experience preferred
