Essential Functions:
- Able to complete all transactions in SAP and required documentation for the position, i.e., receiver logs, process incoming/outgoing BPL and any/all associated paperwork for receiving operations.
- Process all inbound and outbound shipments of materials to/from Refresco plants and other outside warehouses as needed in SAP
- Communicate all receipts and shipments to Co-Pack customers as required via email
- Update and enter all receivers and shippers for material that arrives and ships from Joplin Refresco and offsite facilities into SAP in a timely manner (all loads are to be entered within 24hrs)
- Maintain efficient means of communication to Planning Dept and outside warehouses to prevent and alleviate ASAP orders, goal to provide 24-hour notice for delivery needed materials
- Complete all necessary Materials Inbound/Outbound transactions with SAP
- Maintain Printed Tag for materials to be delivered and practice FIFO compliance and batch integrity for materials within the plant and SAP
- Maintain required department documents – collect, review, and advise, (receiving logs, count sheets, etc.)
- Scan and maintain all documents related to receiving and shipping of materials in digital form. Email required receiving documents to Co-pack customers
- Create, maintain, and update an accurate daily Inbound/Outbound schedule to include all material transfers using information gathered from SAP and Planning Department, to be emailed to Receiving/Materials & Batching Leadership and other appropriate teams
- Maintain all software documents and tables relating to receiving. (Excel, Word, SAP and other programs as needed)
- Coordinate Raw Material returns to outside warehouses and Rigid Plastics as needed
- Facilitate efficient movement of shuttles/empty trailers between plant and warehouses and communicate this information within the plant
- Co-ordinates material and order as needed from outside warehouse to include but not limited to Bottles, packaging, closures and raw materials
- Practice FIFO compliance and maintain batch integrity for raw material within the plant and SAP
- Direct all inbound carriers to designated door(s) for efficient unloading
- Frequent and Daily communication in a friendly and respectful manner with OTR drivers as required
- Maintain and update Driver Sign-in log with required accurate driver name, carrier name, PO numbers and cell phone contact information
- Ensure all Maintenance parts and other department orders delivered are communicated to appropriate departments in a timely manner

- Maintain emails and communication to vendors and other departments within the plant
- Evaluate production schedule changes to accurately communicate needed materials and shortages
- Co-ordinates material ordering from outside warehouses
- Update all Material PO’s and follow up on delivery schedule when orders are late
- Transfer materials from outside warehouses and Rigid in SAP as needed
- Ensure correct raw materials have been/are staged and ready for daily production schedules
- Receive and maintain and ship HazMat Shipping certification, using FedEx or UPS as determined by plant operations
- Process and maintain material SAP transaction from both onsite and offsite locations as required
- Report all inbound material quality issues to appropriate departments and leadership via email and phone
- Process and complete all inbound and outbound label shipments/transfers to/from Refresco plants
- and vendors and other outside warehouses as needed in SAP
- Communicate to all departments any identified label shortages
- Understand and be able to assist Label Department process when required or needed
- Unload LTL material inbounds as workload permits
- Assist Team Leadership with material issues as needed
- Assist Leadership with establishing and maintaining efficient means of communication to Batching and Planning Dept to prevent and alleviate ASAP orders, goal to provide 24-hour notice for delivery needed materials
- Process ASAP and Shuttle requests within plant and offsite warehouses
- Coordinate with Shipping Office and Line Driver personnel on efficient door placement of inbound bottle loads
- Communicate delayed or late inbounds with Planning and Material leadership
- Assist Materials leadership with developing a Daily Materials Received Log of all materials received, to be emailed to appropriate departments
- Assist with delivery of Maintenance, IT and Office materials daily as time permits
- Receive and maintain Forklift Operator certification/license
- Create batching schematics, batch sheets and complete schedule changes in an accurate timely manner for batching - Must be able to track both batching and production schedules. Complete Report and email to Materials and Batching Leadership as required
- Communicate any deficient raw materials required for production are communicated to Planning, Batching, Production and Materials in a timely manner as they arise
- Frequent daily communication, via email and phone to Planning and Production Departments as required
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point
- Able to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop a team environment promoting internal growth
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Initiative, the ability to work independently, strong customer service orientation, strong written and verbal skills and flexibility, vision and creativity
- High level of accountability, quality and innovation (strives for high performance, emphasizes problem prevention, develops ideas for improvement, document new processes, ensures accuracy of information
