What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse (LPN or RN) position at Regency at Northpointe?
32 Hours - Weekend Shift
16 hours on Saturday / 16 hours on Sunday
As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training / supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.
You will:
- Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
- Train staff and report to the director of nursing
- Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
- Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
- Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
- Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
- Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
You Currently:
- Possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing
- Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!
