What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Liaison position at Regency Care of Arlington?
We are looking for an Admission Liaison to join our growing team! The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients.
The Admissions Liaison will work with the Admissions Coordinator to ensure all resident referrals are reviewed to ensure admission criteria is met. The Admission Liaison facilitates the admission process by assisting the client, family and referral sources by providing information regarding admission procedures and insurance requirements.
Job Duties
- Answering Phones and responding to incoming referrals and inquiries via phone, fax or email in a timely manner.
- Providing information to potential resident, family and referral sources regarding treatment programs, insurance, information and admission procedures.
- Obtaining residents clinical and funding source information and insurance authorizations and all documents required for admission.
- Weekly visits to source hospitals/facilities for admissions and maintenance of relationships.
- Prepares and submits marketing reports and all necessary data for accurate maintenance of statistics.
- Conducts facility tours and participates in marketing programs as directed.
Requirements
- Prior healthcare experience, in Admissions preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to visit various locations.
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
