Description
The Regional Traveling Certified Nurse Aide will float / travel to various Regency Integrated Health Services skilled nursing facilities within an assigned region in order to fill vacancies within the schedule. At the assigned location the Regional Traveling C.N.A. will assist residents with activities of daily living, provide a high level of customer service, and follow the direction of facility Charge Nurses and Nurse Management.
Essential Functions
- Communicate regularly with Regional Traveling Certified Nurse Aide Scheduler to discuss facility assignment and schedule.
- Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to call lights.
- Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
- Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
- Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
- Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans
- Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse
Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Licensing Requirements
- Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license
- Must have a valid Texas Drivers License
Experience Requirements
- 2 years or move of skilled nursing faciltiy experience as a C.N.A.
