What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crematory Operator position at Regency Pet, LLC?
Valley Pet Crematory, a member of the Regency Family, is seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to join our growing team who is detail oriented, energetic, and respectful!
The Crematory Operator is responsible for operating the cremation equipment and related accessories to process the pet/animal remains according to company standard practices and procedures, while keeping a safety-first mindset, verifying case accuracy prior to processing, and ensuring the remains are always handled with dignity and respect.
Job Duties:
• Operates cremation equipment and any related accessories to process pet/animal remains.
• Packages remains to be returned to families along with any pet keepsake items.
• Inspects cremation equipment and completes maintenance checklist on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; immediately reporting any safety concerns to management.
• Maintains thorough record keeping of all pet/animal cremations, utilizing the electronic Pet Cremation System handheld device for barcode tracking of cases, and performing data input as needed.
