- Provide an orientation for teachers in Health Education.
- Work with teachers and administrators to determine most effective programming and scheduling.
- Maintains accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulations.
- Assist with the preparation of the Health Curriculum Budget.
- Emphasize the importance of an gain support for school health education within the school and community.
- Help determine program needs and priorities, taking into consideration the needs assessment, the status of existing instruction and community expectations.
- Provide support in identifying and upgrading content to be covered in the local K-12 curriculum.
- Understand and interpret state laws mandating school health education and curriculum guidelines developed by the Department of Education.
- Assist with the design of inservice workshops for administrators and teachers to provide information, review new resources, explore new teaching strategies and improve communication among all involved publics.
- Provide leadership and/or necessary support to design and implement health promotion and wellness activities for school staff.
- Assist with the identification, evaluation and selection of relevant resources to support the instructional program.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

For the administration and coordination of health education.
