What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architect position at Regis HR Group?
As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing architectural projects using ArchiCAD software.
In addition to producing architectural drawings, 3D models, and construction documents, you will also be responsible for coordinating with the project team, ensuring that projects are completed within the established timelines/budgets, and maintain close working relationships with clients/stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ArchiCAD software to create architectural designs, including 3D models, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.
- Develop and present design concepts, proposals, and solutions to clients and obtain their approval.
- Prepare and revise architectural drawings, specifications, and other construction documents using ArchiCAD, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with the project team, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth execution of the design and construction process.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress and quality, and resolve any design-related issues that may arise during construction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in architectural design, particularly with ArchiCAD software, and provide recommendations for improving design processes and workflows.
- Train and mentor junior architects and other team members on ArchiCAD software and best practices for architectural design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design.
- Proven track record of successful completion of architectural projects such as ArchiCAD, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating 3D models, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality architectural drawings and documents.
- Professional licensure as an architect is a plus.
