We are looking for a Manager, Information Security Engineering to contribute to REI’s success by managing Information Security team and solutions, to include the design, configuration, administration, and support of information security systems for the enterprise.
In this role you will:
- Provide direction to team, establish work priorities, and work to optimize the effectiveness of our information security controls and systems.
- Evaluate and propose enhancements and solutions to ensure that information security technology contributes to achievement of the division’s business objectives and achieves a high level of optimization and maturity.
- Contribute to and enforce departmental strategies, policies and standards.
- Ensure that team commitments are tracked, managed, and meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintain a high quality of products and services to help maintain REI’s competitive advantage.
- Model and act in accordance with REI’s guiding values and mission.
Bring your passion and expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration, or equivalent training and experience.
- 2 years supervisory experience in the information security engineering field and the ability to direct technical work teams.
- 5 years’ experience in information security.
- Experience developing team-level plans and contributing to annual budgets.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers in the information technology business.
- Knowledge of methodologies, standards, procedures, and organization that contribute to the development and deployment of technology solutions.
- Experience with structured project life cycle, systems development management tools and service management methodologies.
