Job Summary
Provides receptionist duties in support of the business facility and operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel. Also supports timekeeping and business tracking according to schedules by performing the following duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Abide by Company Safety Program and Policies, while performing duties safely.
Answers incoming telephone calls determines purpose of calls, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
Answers questions about organization and NEBCO provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. May direct customers, visitors to correct area and/or personnel.
Processes weekly timekeeping for the UMIX and RK
Review and process cash sales daily for RK, also review and route and receivable payment checks to the proper divisions for application at the NEBCO accounting office.
Process dump truck haul charges and end of the month reports
Monitors the Out'n About! employee tracking system and updates as appropriate.
Assists in creating memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents for the business when necessary.
Assists Manager by updating the monthly reports.
Assists in research for missing orders and invoices.
Performs other clerical duties daily, such as sorting & distributing mail, filing invoices and load tickets, photocopying, and collating.
Maintain, advise & help fill out Human Resource information and maintain files.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
- High School education or equivalent GED. One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have an aptitude for numbers and accuracy.
- Ability to read and comprehend office procedures, instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate level of knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- 10 key calculator skills.
- Must understand the confining requirements of the receptionist duties.
- Must be flexible in work assignments.
- Spanish speaking skills are helpful but not necessary.
- Previous customer service skills required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must maintain a good attendance record due to the support role of this position.

Working Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is predominately confined to a designated desk/receptionist area, breaks are normally scheduled, occasionally required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Showroom/business environment. Dress code is professional business/casual.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
This is a non-smoking/non-vaping office environment.
Condition of Employment
Candidate is required to meet the above qualifications, task frequency and PPE requirements. Approval of pre-employment reference & background checks, and post offer drug/alcohol testing with back screens (if appropriate) are required as conditions of employment.
Salary : $23,700 - $30,000
