Reliable Carriers is looking for experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanics to maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers out of our in-house shop in Chandler, AZ.

The Position :
The successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
What you'll do :
- Perform equipment maintenance on tractors and trailers as needed.
- Perform PM (preventative maintenance on equipment on a scheduled basis).
- Consistently look for and identify equipment issues on tractors and trailers that could cause a safety issue or equipment failure, ultimately causing downtime with the unit.
- Focused on time units and getting routine maintenance done within the allotted time frame.
- Maintain tractors and trailers to Reliable Carriers and Federal CSA standards.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
What you'll need :
- Prior technical experience in heavy-duty truck / trailer repair or automotive maintenance.
- Knowledge on A / C system, brake system, emission systems, air systems and diagnostics / trouble shooting of diesel engines.
- Basic welding skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must pass an initial background and drug test.
- Must speak fluent English.
- Possess basic hand tools.
- State certification and industry technical certifications are a plus.
