Position Purpose
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory maintenance and accuracy. Responsibilities include managing daily discrepancies, cycle counts, sub reports, and all required stock adjustments for their location.
Essential Functions
Manage daily discrepancies including all discrepancies from Latitude discrepancy page, cycle counts, reported stock issues, and purchasing inquiries.
Ensure sub report is processed daily including any maintenance required such as re-labeling, reorganizing of parts and learning barcodes.
Utilize emailed core and negative quantities on hand reports to review and maintain accurate counts of all parts on the reports.
Conduct daily cycle counts using locations defined count plan. Manage all count discrepancies and count log.
Answer all email inquiries in reasonable amount of time.
Thoroughly investigate all discrepancies in depth to ascertain the cause of the discrepancy, log the cause and work with team to prevent issue repeating.
Maintain overall condition and organization of inventory ensuring inventory is properly stacked, neatly organized, properly labeled and identified, in sellable condition and ready for pick.
Responsible for quarantined/mispackaged items
NOBINS (item in stock without a bin location), available bins, data clean up, etc
Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (ie: fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc)
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 1-year experience in warehouse environment.
Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
Must have High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work shifts
Ability to multitask
