RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.

ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world’s premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.

Background Information:

This full-time, onsite position provides Senior-level Program Analyst support to the Atlantic Range & Targets (ART) Director via the Range Operations Division (ROD) at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent River, Maryland.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receives, processes, and tracks data calls for ART’s leadership including ART’s Director, Division Heads, ART’s and Range Instrumentation Division (RID’s) Chief Engineers, and ART’s Chief Architect
  • Provides Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) to said leadership identifying tasks to be accomplished as a result of data calls, including applicable plans for resources, subsequent milestones, and completion dates
  • Tracks monthly and quarterly due dates with a tickler system and provides timely information to all applicable parties to ensure due dates are successfully met
  • Prepares briefs, spreadsheets, and action documents to ART’s leadership, including “fully polished” final products ready for leadership’s briefing
  • Collaborates with ART’s Business Financial Manager (BFM), Test Management Branch Head, ART’s Investment Team, and ART’s Chief Architect with respect to ART’s funding, investment projects, test events, etc., as needed
  • Some travel and overtime may be required as needed

Education, Experience, & Certifications/Licenses Requirements:

  • MS Degree in business administration, technical management, or applicable program management field from an accredited college or university is required
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience performing the stated or similar functions is required
  • In lieu of a MS degree, a BA/BS Degree with a minimum of 14 years performing the stated or similar functions
  • Must have strong attention to details and possess strong communication skills
  • Must have solid experience with Microsoft’s Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project (especially Critical Paths), and SharePoint
  • Must be familiar with ART’s organization and possess a strong understanding of the Navy’s funding vehicles, including Direct, MRTFB Institutional, NWCF, and budget drills
  • Former Military experience is a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and successfully pass drug screening test

 

Clearance Requirement:

  • Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a United States Department of Defense (DoD) issued Secret Clearance

 

Work Conditions:

  • Most work performed in enclosed buildings. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching.
  • Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100 lbs. assisted by other employees.
  • Vision abilities needed to perform this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass drug testing
