The Catering Account Manager in New York City is responsible for managing relationships and expectations with high-level workplace dining and corporate dining clients in Manhattan. The Account Manager is responsible for hands-on, on-site management of catering services on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to, menu planning, special events planning, and enhancing engagement through food, beverage, and hospitality.
The Account Manager works closely with the on-site culinary team for menu display, execution, and client services. They also meet regularly with the kitchen team and clients to communicate feedback and discuss upcoming events.
The Account Manager administers the account by updating menus on a daily and weekly basis, updating dietary notes, and creating buffet diagrams. Additionally, the Account Manager trains on-site kitchen staff on day-to-day café operations.
The CAM works closely with the kitchen team to create well-balanced employee meals that are beautifully displayed creatively. The on-site café staff reports directly to the Account Manager, who is also responsible for scheduling, hiring, and training the café team.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
