Strategic Account Manager
Do you look around corners for ways to engage and service customers? Are you passionate about using technology to solve business problems that have a big customer impact? Account Managers assist large enterprise organizations effectively manage their mobility strategy with Relocity by promoting and advocating Relocity's suite of products and services so their clients can effectively and efficiently mobilize their talent at scale.
As an SAM, you'll help articulate the value proposition of Relocity's products by positioning, bundling and handling any objections presented by senior level contacts. The ability to craft a narrative based on data is vital to differentiate our products and stand out above the competition. You have the capacity and sales acumen to manage and grow a book of business of high touch enterprise accounts with up to seven figure investment, are comfortable presenting to audiences of 20-50 people, and autonomously engage with day-to-day management and senior level managers in legal and HR departments.
This is a fully remote position, with onsite visits to client's offices required up to 40-50% of the time once work travel is approved.
This role is preferably based in the North-East region
Key job responsibilities
- Experience as a quota carrying technology field sales individual, or business development professional
- Experience increasing technology adoption and creating long term transformational account strategies
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, HR leaders, and other lines of business
- Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to Global Customers
- 5 years of experience working in a global federated enterprise working with multiple business units and influencing governance and policy is a plus.
- A BA or BS degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field
- Experience in deal negotiations with a successful track record, ability to navigate internally across functions and the customer in a trusted advisor/consultative approach, and establishing credibility quickly with senior level executives across the organizations.
- Drive growth by promoting and selling Relocity products & services
- Oversee and manage large, complex, high visibility and strategic enterprise accounts
- Developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts within the Financial Services vertical
- Conduct face to face & virtual meetings including presentations, webinars and product demonstrations
- Act as a trusted advisor to your clients, share insights, and continually identify revenue opportunities within with an entire organization
- Analyze and utilize data for in-depth evaluation of accounts to recognize revenue opportunities and drive sales
Experience
- A strong understanding of technology as a service (Iaas, SaaS, PaaS) is preferred.
- 10 years of complex Sales, Account Management or Line-of-Business Management
- BA/BS degree or relevant experience · Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-Suite customer executives
- Experience communicating and presenting to C-Suite and senior leadership internally (VP-level and above)
- Experience managing and orchestrating account team resources on behalf of customers
- Experience positioning and selling technology to new and existing clients
- Experience proactively growing customer knowledge and relationships within complex accounts
- Track record of consistent and sustained business and sales performance in complex enterprise sales
- Ensuring the right sense of urgency and diligence across the company
- 5 years of experience in an enterprise field sales environment
- Demonstrates success in building and growing new accounts and territories through consultative and solution based selling
- Understands how to strategically and effectively navigate large, complex enterprise organizations
- Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to travel up to 40%- 50% of the time
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
