What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at Remington Lodging & Hospitality?
What you will be doing
- Work with various hotel Associates in Food and Beverage and Catering to ensure bar service for events is correct and up to standards of quality.
- Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
- Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
- Making really great beverages! Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.
What we are looking for
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests and associates.
- Previous experience in high-volume bar as bartender
- High work ethic and self-initiative
- Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
- Able to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to accurately memorize drink ingredients and garnishes for use in beverage service.
- Someone who enjoys working as and being part of a team that provides great experiences for our Guests!
