RemX is looking for Credit Coordinator's for our client in Franklin, TN. Work closely with Sales, Catering, Conference Management, and Finance leaders to manage credit risk. Work between customers and clients to ensure timely collection of deposits and direct-bill accounts.
- Title: Credit Coordinator
- Employment Type: Contract to Hire
- Location: On-site | Franklin, TN
- Salary: $22.00 - $23.00 an hour
- Schedule Availability: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Approximately 10 hours of OT weekly.
- Targeted Start Date: 5/9/22 or 5/16/22 pending completion of onboarding
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess credit worthiness of clients using commercial credit reporting tools and industry trade references
- Extend credit proposals to new and existing clients, participate in collections regarding credit extensions and direct bills
- Establishes direct billing accounts as appropriate for hotel clients, communicates terms
- Maintain strong relationship with Finance, Sales, Catering, and Conference Services team members
- Collaborate with other Billing Services team members to research disputes and billing discrepancies
- Communicates with guests/clients to collect group advance deposits and payments, keeping accurate records
- Applies payment in hotel's property management system
- Lead conference calls with hotel leaders reviewing upcoming group business, aged receivables, and collections progress
- Provides reporting to Finance leadership
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent REQUIRED
- 1 years of experience with extending credit and collections REQUIRED
- 1 years of experience in hospitality or finance environment REQUIRED
- Proficient Excel skills including standard and intermediate functions REQUIRED
- Ability to professionally communicate in written and verbal communication
- Work well alone and with team members to achieve tight deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction
