Gas Measurement Analyst

The Gas Measurement analyst position is located in the Midland, TX office. This position is for a person willing to learn about system balances, data trending, scheduling and data management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Process daily measurement data in the FlowCal measurement system

· Utilize multiple software systems for data retrieval

· Work within close deadlines

· Work with field technicians as well as other departments to meet their requests.

· Identify and resolve potential measurement errors

· Manage time efficiently; understand daily and monthly requirements for close and other assigned responsibilities

· Monitor missing data, and interact with appropriate personnel to resolve problems

· Review and monitor gas quality; identify potential analysis problems and resolve the issue

· Assist in volume and analysis acquisition and review

· Review monthly system balance; assist field in troubleshooting problems

· Provide support for all business units and customers

· Have a working knowledge of MS Excel

· Interact and communicate effectively with field and office personnel

· Recognize & analyze data trends

· Utilize basic math to determine data discrepancies

· Maintain data accuracy to ensure SOX compliancy

Personal Qualifications, Experience & Requirements
A successful candidate will meet the following

Education
Minimum of High School Diploma

Experience
This job is an entry level position, and training will be provided. Experience with thinking critically in a fast paced work environment is a plus.

Requirements

· Must be proficient in computer skills, including MS Excel, Word & Outlook

· Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills

· Must be able to work both as a team and individually

· Must have a positive, learning attitude

· Must take pride and ownership in projects and assignments

· Must think critically and generate own workflow

This position is a contract-to-hire position.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
