\n- Team Oversight: Manage the global A/R, collections, and A/P teams providing hands-on oversight and related accounting management.
- Internal Controls: Develop and uphold robust policies for strong internal controls.
- Transaction Accuracy: Ensure precise classification of transactions across all accounting operations.
- Process Improvements: Drive process improvement throughout the organization in support of new technical accounting developments.
- Operational Insights: Report operational metrics to assess accounting operations' health.
- Reporting Excellence: Establish operational and accounting reporting KPIs.
- Senior Management Input: Provide essential insights to senior management (C-Suite, VP) for policy development.
- Month-End Close: Lead A/P and A/R close process including accruals and reconciliation in partnership with the Controller and GL team.
- 10 years of Finance and Accounting experience in Public & Private sectors.
- 4 years prior leadership/management roles in accounting at a growth-stage enterprise SaaS company.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, subscription billing, procurement and AP automation platforms.
- CPA or progress toward certification (preferred).
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting requirements.
- Experience within SAAS, manufacturing, and/or IoT sectors, with understanding of related accounting policies (ASC 606, inventory, software development).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data processing, with a preference for operational process improvement experience.
- Experience overseeing global accounting operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable, team-focused work style with a collaborative approach.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable working under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting/Business/Finance (required).
