Job Title: Cutting Operator
Location: Hebron, KY
3-6 Months Contract High Possibility of Extension

2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 03:00 AM (Tuesday to Friday), Training takes place on the 1st shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Thursday) and eventually transition to permanent shift.

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for setting up and operating cutting Machinery equipped to cut paper into sheets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read orders jackets to determine the specification of orders to be cut.
  • Installs dies, knives, and/or blades in a variety of cutting equipment.
  • Program and makes an adjustment to a variety of cutting equipment.
  • Set up and runs all cutting equipment in manufacturing.
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks on machinery.
  • Completes paperwork at end of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Manual Dexterity
  • Strong Initiative
  • Team Player Ability to read a ruler
  • Ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to stand and walk regularly during a 10-hourshift.

Salary: $17.50 per hour
