ReRent Property Management is looking for a new addition to our team. We are a property management company that specializes in commercial, residential and student units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, including drywall repairs, installations, and inspections of equipment, systems, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and other mechanical components.
- Conduct home maintenance and ensure safety and functionality through regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Complete make-ready repairs on schedule and address resident service requests within 24-48 hours, when possible.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including after-hours on-call duties.
- Maintain accurate records of preventative maintenance, service requests, and work status.
- Handle exterior maintenance tasks such as lawn care, snow removal, and janitorial work.
- Use personal tools and reliable transportation for occasional material runs, adhering to safety protocols and policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, contractors, and team members, maintaining professionalism.
- Work closely with supervisors and office staff to ensure timely task completion.
- Reside near Binghamton, NY, to provide emergency support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is a plus
- Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively and safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Location: Broome and Tioga Counties
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, some on call and weekends as needed
Compensation: Competitive salary, benefits, and opportunities for growth. Starting compensation based on experience.
