Small and successful CPA firm needs an experienced REMOTE Tax Senior with at least 5 years of experience in business and individual tax preparation and review. The practice is growing quickly and a self-motivated energetic professional is needed to fill this position.
The candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of the tax code and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative, technology-driven environment.
If you are detail-oriented and work well under pressure, this is a great position for you. The tax team and management staff have many years of combined experience, and this position is critical to the quality and output of our professional tax services.
Job Description
- Timely and accurate preparation and review of 1040, 1065, 1120S
- Ability to explain returns to clients
- Some accounting work for year round clients, outside of tax season
Qualifications
- EA or CPA preferred
- At least 5 years of tax preparation and review experience in a fast-paced, organized, and detail-oriented environment
- Tech-savvy - comfortable working in the cloud and learning new technology.
- Prior experience using Ultra Tax software a plus, but not required
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Team player, hands-on, self-driven, and problem-solver
- Remote office set up
