What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter position at Rescar Companies?
Rescar is looking for a Recruiter to join our team in our Houston office. The Recruiter is responsible for creating strategic staffing approaches to attract a wide pool of qualified talent for the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using modern recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, applicant tracking systems, and other active methods of reaching the widest, most diverse pool of active and passive candidates.
Responsibilities:
Manage talent acquisition – Develop and optimize Rescar's recruiting strategy, to include skill-need discovery, sourcing methods, employer branding, collaboration with local education, training and employment agencies.
Strategize – Work with leadership to understand the hiring needs of the organization. Create exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees. Draft and create job descriptions as needed. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes.
Administrative duties – Assist with applicant screening to insure qualified candidates are seen, attend job fairs and other recruiting events, use systems and tools, such as HRIS and ATS, develop and submit hiring and turnover analysis reports. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources is preferred
- Minimum two years of direct recruiting experience managing all phases of the process
- Proactive sourcing tactics and substantial initiative
- Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Rescar Companies is a privately held company that offers maintenance services to companies that own and/or lease rail rolling stock. Services include mechanical repair, exterior painting, interior coating and cleaning. These services are provided from Rescar's nationwide network of 40 service locations in the United States, either at fixed facilities or from our mobile field services centers.
