Overview
The Senior Director of Application Development is responsible for leading and managing the application development team. This includes developing and executing the team's strategic plan, hiring and managing staff, and overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality applications. The Senior Director of Application Development will also be responsible for ensuring that the team meets all business requirements and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develops and executes the application development team's strategic plan
- Hires and manages staff
- Oversees the development and delivery of high-quality applications
- Ensures that the team meets all business requirements and deadlines
- Stays up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in application development
- Represents the application development team to senior management and other stakeholders
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field; MBA or Masters in related field
- Fifteen or more years of experience in leading technical resources and product development
- Healthcare, Pharmacy, Long-term Care experience a plus
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
