The Legal team is responsible for managing the legal affairs of the company, including providing legal counsel across the organization, handling disputes, and creating and enforcing intellectual property.

The Privacy Manager role will manage and develop privacy analysts who partner with the business and drive integration of privacy designs within solutions and company processes. The role provides thought and situational leadership to privacy services within the US, Canada, and Latin America, including strong collaboration on these with APAC, and EU privacy teams.
Let's talk about Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the work of privacy analysts who conduct data processing assessments and vendor reviews.
- Provide leadership for the company’s Privacy by Design and Transparency approach when developing solutions, services, and business processes.
- Maintain and enhance the Privacy Risk Register and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Establish/enhance effective and efficient privacy services.
- Drive operational efficiencies across processes that intersect between regional privacy teams, Information Security Team, Data Governance, Government Affairs, Procurement, and Legal.
- Serve as internal advisor to the business on highly complex privacy use cases.
- Responsible for keeping the Privacy Director up-to-date on issues and matters regarding privacy operations, projects, and initiatives.
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in privacy within digital health solutions, risk management and/or compliance
- Bachelors Degree in business administration, law, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Privacy Certified - CIPP certification(s) and/or CHPC preferred with evidence of continuing professional development in privacy.
- In depth knowledge of privacy laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PIPEDA)..
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing high performing teams.
- Experience driving privacy by design in areas such as Ad Tech, use of social media platforms, mobile applications, biometrics, and data analytics (using artificial intelligence), etc.
- Experience working in a highly regulated and/or audited environment.
