Community Liaison
Overview
Resolutions Recovery Center (RRC) is seeking a full-time Community Liaison. RRC is a non-hospital, residential substance abuse treatment facility for adults seeking such treatment. RRC opened its doors in July of 2021 and is a growing entity. The Community Liaison engages in community outreach activities related to referral coordination, internal and external communication, and community education. The ideal candidate must have some industry knowledge and demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude and recognize that patient care is a top priority.
Resolutions Recovery Center is required to follow many policies, procedures and mandates from the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol and from organizations that RRC contracts with to provide services. These requirements must be followed by all staff, along with the Policies and Procedures/ Employee Handbook of the company.
Job Duties:
- Engage in community outreach activities related to referral coordination, internal/external communications, and community education.
- Maximizes market entry through effective interface with existing and new referral networks and market segments.
- Values close and collaborative relationship with Intake & Admissions Department.
- Demonstrates working knowledge and understanding of inquiry system and admissions process.
- Supports client and family engagement on behalf of the company.
- Monitors referral/admission/discharge statistics and analysis to integrate required adjustments to Marketing & Business Development Plan.
- Develops and conducts program presentations to prospective referral sources, agencies, hospital networks, local community officials, and other key stakeholders.
- Plans and facilitates community events, conference participation, and CEUs to enhance the company’s brand and image.
- Continuously evaluates and enhances the company’s website design, content, and functionality.
- Coordinates social media content and distribution.
- Assists with the development and organization of community support groups designed to clinically support the clinical needs of the local market.
- Prepares and submits reports regarding marketing & business development portion of the program operating reports.
- Understands and articulates insurance and utilization review concepts and terminology.
- Strong leadership ability, a team builder, able to work independently with limited direct supervision, and a strong business acumen that is results driven.
- Strategic thinker; decisive decision making with goal of client and philosophy of company in mind.
- Strong ethics and standards of work, reliability, and maintain high level of confidentiality.
- Able to multi-task, excellent problem solving/trouble shooting skills reliable, to delegate or seek assistance.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma. A bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Marketing or public speaking experience preferred.
- C.P.R. certification, or willingness to complete such.
- Knowledge of basic principles and methods of drug and alcohol treatment programs.
- Knowledge of basic behavior management and program planning principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to follow directions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic with a positive attitude and exceptional customer focus.
- Safety-minded and dedicated team player.
- Strong Public speaking skills.
- Good driving record and driver license.
