Information Steward is an SAP application, a Data Profiling tool, allows you to put in rules, need to understand the business requirements and do functional/technical design/build/test. Like, in this system, field #1 should always have a value, IS will have a report or a project that will always look at that field and say if you ever find it blank, let us know and we'll fix it. It's a data quality tool defined by business rules.
Already implemented to some degree, need an expert to build out and define the rules and reports and testing them and rolling them out to whoever needs to run the report.
Information Stewards, BODS is used to profile the data as part of the migration, bods is the migration tool
