Resource One International is a growing Paper Converting Manufacturing Plant in Little Chute, WI.

We are currently accepting applications for future Converting Associate positions. These positions oversee the setup and operations of paper sheeting equipment and the employees on the line, conduct regular quality checks, handle minor maintenance and troubleshooting issues, and ensure overall safety and quality of line procedures. Below is the detailed job description.


Hourly rate is dependent on candidate's experience. There is a $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.



Job Overview: Responsible for operating converting equipment which includes overseeing 1 to 3 employees depending on the line. The Converting Associate must have a good knowledge of the equipment downstream to ensure all equipment is operating at target level to reach production goals and deliver a product that exceeds the customers' quality requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform converting equipment setups and operation, this will require additional troubleshooting of equipment to achieve optimal performance of equipment.
  • Oversee and assist downstream employees with equipment troubleshooting.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting of converting equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks to assure product meets Resource One’s quality expectations
  • Maintain a clean work area by following 6'S and safety standards.
  • Ensure personnel on line are complying with company safety and quality procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2 years light manufacturing experience.
  • 1-year paper converting experience.
  • 6 months of running a sheeter.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Good working knowledge of paper converting equipment.
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of safety and quality policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Good math and measuring skills. Good mechanical skills.
  • Good communication skills. Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. Ability to think and react quickly.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability to use various tools and equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks and industry equipment.
  • Ability to work the assigned shift and cover vacations as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform the following activities:

  • Lifting up to 55 pounds.
  • Standing, walking and bending.
  • Reaching and grabbing with hands.

Potential Available Shifts:

  1. 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. 
  2. 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. 
  3. 2-2-3 schedule; off every other weekend: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 
  4. NO rotating between Days & Nights 

Shift Differential Pay: $1.00 per hour for time worked between 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
