What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cnc machine operator position at ResourceMFG?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the following :
- Operating CNC lathes and mills to machine parts according to specifications
- Conduct ongoing dimensional inspections and document results
- Monitor machine operation, ensuring proper functionality
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols
- Manufacture parts to the required quantity and document processes in the ERP system
- Inspect parts using precision tools like micrometers and calipers
- Read and interpret part routing, drawings, and specifications
- Produce first article parts, inspect them, and ensure documentation completion
- Other duties as assigned
The Mills and Lathes being operated are Okuma, Daewoo and Haas on OSP, Fanuc and Haas controls. Set ups and edits will not be required but would be a plus.
This is a Mon-Fri 1st shift position,7am-3 : 30pm working OT as needed.
