Now hiring an NC Laser Operator for a metal fabrication company located in West Jacksonville.
This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, can multi-task, and thrives in a fast paced/high-pressure environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
– Maintaining tools associated with the punching or laser cutting processes
– Following process sheets and communicating discrepancies to supervisor
– Setting up and breaking down punching laser cutting equipment with proper tooling
– Operating pallet jack and forklift equipment
– Reading and understanding prints and drawings
Qualification and Requirements:
– Knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used
-Ability to make basic mathematical calculations related to the daily job functions
– Ability to read calipers
– Knowing the quality system, buy-off procedures, AQL, peer review inspections and how to record entries
$16 – 18 per hour
