Job Responsibilities:
- Pick/Organize/Move parts through production areas according to policy and procedures.
- In an accurate and timely manner, measure, weigh, count and record part information and quantities.
- Follow work instructions to pick and record required serial numbers and quantities.
- Complete NetSuite (ERP system) functions to ensure flow through production and update system critical data information.
- Use material moving equipment such as carts and pallet jacks to deliver or route products and materials to appropriate locations.
- Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain correct materials or containers to be moved and where they should be moved too.
- Sort and place materials/items on racks or shelves according to type. Stage containers, materials, or products in assigned areas.
- Notify appropriate individuals of inventory issues (overages, shortages, substitutions).
- Support all company policies, procedures, safety rules and principles of Lean Manufacturing/5S.
- Be available as required by customer demand to work additional time (overtime) throughout the year. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor.
Job Requirements
- 1 year experience in warehouse/production environment
- Able to twist, lift, carry, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand up, walk, bend for entire shift
- Able to count accurately
- Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers
- Organized and able to follow complex work instructions (both written or voice instructions)
