Requirements:
- 9 plus years of experience working as a Data Modeler.
- Experience working as a Team Lead.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets.
- Familiarity with big data querying languages and tools (e.g., Hive, Hadoop).
- Must have experience of data lakes, data warehouses, and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, integrating big data solutions into broader business strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities:
- Determine data requirements for big data solutions, considering volume, velocity, variety, and veracity aspects of the data.
- Design and implement scalable and high-performance data models for big data platforms (such as Hadoop, Spark).
- Create data schemas, structures, and data pipelines optimized for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulations, implementing encryption, access controls, and auditing mechanisms for big data systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand their requirements and provide necessary data support.
