Analyst II Finance FP&A IT

Job Objective -

This position provides advanced financial analysis and support to the Director and Managers of IT FP&A and Business Partners in IT.  Incumbents will be expected to perform competently in all core finance disciplines noted below, and will rotate between core finance areas as required based upon business needs. This position must ensure accuracy, provide standardized templates and support overall team in delivering Reporting and Planning deliverables. 

Primary Duties -

Support IT  Business Partners with  functions that impact IT Financials -

•  Review IT Purchase Orders for accurate coding and do budget checks for IT Purchase orders
• Support IT with Monthly Accrual process for both Opex and Capital expenses
• Validate IT prepay contracts to be sure properly expensed and accrued

Support Budget, Forecast, and LE processes -

• Prepare submission templates, work with IT and  Finance teams across the Brands and RBS to ensure timely submission, upload information in Essbase/BPC
• Support / coordinate the IT OPEX Planning process(s) - budget, forecast and LE's

Support period diagnostics -

• Reconcile IT accounts vs. budget monthly
• Create IT Journal Entries ( Labor, External Labor, etc.)
• Reseach and Analyze monthly IT spend for variance reporting
•  Power BI reporting
• Support manager in preparation of period reports and analytics for IT reviews
• Develop standardized templates to ensure an efficient reporting process (tables, waterfall graphs, trend lines, etc.)
• Work on ad-hoc questions and special projects from  FP&A and IT as needed

Systems Knowledge -

• SAP
• Coupa
• Power BI
• Excel

Experience & Education -

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3-6 years of revelant experience
