Description
RETTEW is seeking a dedicated and skilled Survey Project Manager to lead our surveying and GIS projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed with precision and align with our clients’ objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee survey and GIS projects from inception to completion, guaranteeing timely delivery within budget constraints and client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to fulfill project specifications.
- Craft and evaluate project proposals, contracts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
- Perform and supervise site visits and field surveys, gathering essential data for project progression.
- Administer project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring milestones are achieved as planned.
- Certify that all project outputs adhere to the highest quality standards and are delivered punctually.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Active PLS or Ohio PS License is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years in managing survey and GIS projects is required.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Expertise in AutoCAD, GIS software, and familiarity with contemporary surveying and mapping instruments.
- Capability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Robust analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex project challenges.
