Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Survey/GIS Team Lead to manage and lead RETTEW’s Region 3 Survey/GIS Team within the Planning and Design Practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Practice Leadership and will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and retaining an existing team of Survey and GIS designers, technicians, analysts, and field personnel.

The responsibilities of this role include overseeing project managers and design staff, delivering high-quality services to clients, building strong client relationships, leading team meetings, managing projects, supporting sales and business development efforts, retaining and expanding business with existing clients, attracting and retaining staff, engaging in effective client communication, identifying business development opportunities, collaborating with other managers and leadership team members, establishing and monitoring regional operating budget, assessing and managing risk, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
· 10 years of progressively established experience in the Survey/GIS industry with an emphasis on staff, project, client, contract, and quality management.
· Pennsylvania PLS, West Virginia PLS, or Ohio PS Licensure preferred.
· Registration or Certification in relevant field preferred
· Reside in close proximity to one of RETTEW’s office locations (Pittsburgh, PA; Morgantown, WV; St. Clairsville, OH; or Akron-Canton, OH).
· Knowledge of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio survey regulations, standards, and practices.
· Strong technical knowledge of Survey and GIS disciplines.
· Proven track record of success in project management, business development, and client relations.
· Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse, multi-located team to achieve results.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
